Be Still (poem)

Updated on June 19, 2016

What are those thoughts we hide

Those shadows held inside

A nuisance to our pride

In whom can we confide

-

Be still and He will come to you

And with His spark your faith renew

-

For you who so alone

For songs you hold sad moans

Around you all unknown

Those feelings aren’t your own

-

Be still and He will comfort you.

A Friend to flame your hope anew

=

And if it hurts He’ll harken to your cry.

Though you are confused you still can feel Him sigh

-

Be still, He’s always there for you.

No matter what you do

Very lovely poem, Mh! Friendship is a special kind of love and it's always nice to have one there for you who understands.

      Peace and blessings

Beautiful! I love the song, very comforting. I'm thankful for God's faithfulness.
