Beautiful Reckoning (a poem of inspiration)

Updated on June 24, 2015
a finest spectrum to behold...
a finest spectrum to behold...
beauty beyond compare...
beauty beyond compare...
Each precious dawning to begin the new day...
Each precious dawning to begin the new day...
A treasure given to us for free...
A treasure given to us for free...
The earliest sunup...ours , this gift to all see.
The earliest sunup...ours , this gift to all see.

A lovely vision...as the day is quite young,

A most fantastic reckoning, has just begun.

Sunlight's caught crystals,,,spread all askew,

Beautiful collection...in its colorful debut.

A wonderful selection...a spectrum, intense,

Arouses the feelings...every vision to sense.

A cherished sensation...its reception to view,

Brilliance of a rainbow...in red, yellow, and blue.

The morning's fond entrance...welcomed in kind,

Such inflections of grandeur, beyond the sublime.

Fresh start to a new day.. highest hopes to begin,

A sign of its finest ending...our emotions transcend.

Such treasures in the dawning...to be gifted to all,

A tribute to the morning...as by a whippoorwill's call.

Every small bird, finest warbler...so greets the new day,

A special ovation...its finest symphony, now on display.

As the night time to come...its curtain to fall... a promise of a new dawning...awaiting us all...
As the night time to come...its curtain to fall... a promise of a new dawning...awaiting us all...

Morning are truly spectacular! I remember hearing the whippoorwill's call growing up in Georgia, but I don't hear it here.

      Lovely and truly inspirational poetry.

A Pretty rhythmical one, and flows well. Excellent Poem and I like it.

Do you need so many pauses? It's a feature of your poems, and I just wondered if it would read a bit freer with less dots. Food for thought? Anyway, Bro. Much Love.

The sunlight, the rainbow, the bird and more do give us reasons to enjoy the day. Beautiful line and altogether very inspiring!

The dawn is beautiful but a red sunset reflecting off the clouds can be stunning. Inspiring poetry
