Beautifully, Naturally Me

Updated on October 30, 2011

Bound by the outside world looking into the mirror of life that I have been provided, never to realize that this face I see was not mine, but a mere image of what was perceived to be in the eyes of a world that could never feel the depth of the truth I seek to find myself.

And like the skin of a snake, I'd shed and leave behind my lost purpose and fallen destiny that once confined me to a place I'd never thought I'd be. AND THEN THERE WAS ME... All natural mocha brown gleam, shining like the sun no longer on the run from what for so long I was hiding and afraid to release. I rock my fro proud, fist raised high, expression "LOUD", I'm making a statement now shhhhh.... as I take this time to speak.

I'm loving myself, I'm at inner personal peace. My essence, my whole entire being, so natural and beautifully complete. AND THEN THERE WAS ME...

That's right and I hope you really take that feeling with you always; we all do...
