Bed of Feathers - Box of Roses

Updated on June 7, 2013

Falling is a motion
So where do we go
Going towards a place
Bracing for the snow

Soft is the melody
Sweet is the river
Sharp is the thorn
And we become the giver

Give our mind up for nothing
Our soul to the wind
Erosion of our spirit
Yet we become so happy we sing

Falling straight down
To a ground so soft
Falling into a secret
A place we once forgot

We land on a bed of feathers
A picture of a million poses
Pack up the parts we lost to the wind
Precariously placed in a box of roses
