Behold the Sun (poem)
Behold the sun one purpose does it serve
A light to cast such beauty to this world
A ray of hope for which our dreams unfurled
And from this purpose I shall never swerve
-
The flowers dance exited by the light
They add a scent of magic to the air
A spring of luster sparkles everywhere
An endless fantasy of sheer delight
-
A breeze ignites invited by the sun
Its whispers spread sweet warmth across the heart
And in its path what melodies will start
Entrancing all the thrills the light has spun
-
And when my night comes what am I to do
The sun the light I dream about is you
