Beware, my love!

Updated on February 26, 2015

A love unreciprocated

tends to nebulize to naught

like a water-drop in a hot pan;

but never in my case,

my dear!

eve’n nepenthe may drug me

to sorrow

just as ecstasy draws tears

in the happy eyes

of an overjoyous person;

be not stubborn

in your denial,

sizzle some sensation

into my fond ears,

dole out tonnes of love

into my thirsty eyes,

allow your lips

to murmur words of love,

and most of all

wrap me

in your hug of love!

Then shall I revive

The mythical phoenix

Shedding away

The ashes of sadness

To forget myself

In the arms of your love!

      I just love those lines with the mystical phoenix. Lovely sentiments.
