Beyond the Tempest

By Tony DeLorger © 2011

Beyond the tempest roar,

with the inequities of wills flaunting,

and the meek receding,

there is a warm silent current of disconnection,

unwilling souls to play that game of life.

Some, in the tranquil hearts of angels,

embrace life beyond the self,

and flourish in the serenity of truth,

the knowing of potentials past the physical,

past the seduction of sensory gratification.

The mind is complex and endless in capacity,

able to see beyond horizons,

feel beyond touch,

know beyond proof

and love beyond self.

A soul is poised to embrace love,

at the precipice of loss,

in the face of sacrifice and surrender,

until like a beacon, love radiates as a billions stars,

and love breathes life to completion.

As always, I love what you write. You package the "Truth" nicely in those spaces. ;-)
