Bill Cosby, and His Whatchamacallit

( In this article, I have replaced a certain word that pertains to the male genitalia with the generic term "whatchamacallit".)

Twenty-seven women who have accused Bill Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them appeared on NBC's Dateline that aired on Friday night.(Oct 10,2015) The women gave accounts of how they were violated by Cosby and also answered questions about their ordeal. Of all the accounts given, the account given by Linda Ridgeway Whitedeer left me dumbfounded! Linda claims that she was sexually assaulted by Bil Cosby while on a job interview for a role in a movie. Linda was in her early 20's at the time of the alleged incident.

And this is how the story goes: Linda claims that once she had sat down in a chair, Cosby "gently" grabbed the hair on the back of her head. Then she said, " ... and when I looked up I was staring at his whatchamacallit, and I went into shock. And he shoved his whatchamacallit in my mouth. It was over in seconds." This account raises some serious questions.

1. How was Bill Cosby able to put his whatchamacallit in Linda's mouth?

We all know that in order for something to be placed in a persons mouth, that persons mouth must be open! There is no other way. And so we must conclude that Linda opened her mouth.

2. Why did Linda open her mouth?

Was she in such awe of Bill Cosby's celebrity that she felt compelled to open her mouth against her own will? This is very hard for me to understand. Linda did not indicate in her account that Bill Cosby was violent, or threatening. She also admitted that she "had not" been drugged and was quite lucid. We must also remember that this woman had not been kidnapped and taken to a secluded location where she feared for her life. Nor was she tied up and unable to escape. So what possessed her to open her mouth? Bill Cosby's celebrity? The fear of offending the man who could possibly make or break her acting career? Was the movie role she was being interviewed for so important that she had no other choice but to suffer this indignity? Or is Bill Cosby a Reptilian hybrid who has the power to manipulate human behavior with his mind? But if Cosby possesses such a super-human power, then it raises the question of why he would feel a need to drug many of the other alleged victims.

An Atypical Reaction

Linda's reaction to the situation cannot be seen as typical. We would expect that some women might react by jumping up from the chair and running out of the room. Others may have stayed seated but would have turned their face away from his whatchamacallit. And if Cosby would have persisted, they may have vigorously shook their head to avoid his whatchamacallit, with their mouth firmly closed. It would be impossible for a whatchamacallit to hit such a moving target. Still, other women would have taken a more violent approach by pushing Cosby away, physically assaulting him, slapping his whatchamacallit, or even biting and shredding his whatchamacallit with their teeth!

Furthermore, when she tells us "it was over in seconds" it only leaves us to wonder: Did Cosby place his whatchamacallit in her mouth, count to 3, and then pull it out, or did she complete an act of oral sex; bringing Bill Cosby and his whatchamacallit to a happy ending? If we choose to believe either scenario, then we have just left Kansas, and are on our way to the magical land of OZ! Her story simply doesn't make sense. It is difficult to believe that a woman who did not fear for her life, who was not being violently restrained, and who was not in a severely isolated condition, would complete such an act if she were an unwilling participant.

I feel that she did more harm than good, and was not helpful in portraying Cosby as an abusive offender. There were other stories shared by the women that also raise serious questions. For example, in the cases where the women were allegedly abused multiple times on different occasions, their stories are more than slightly incredulous. Had Cosby helped these women to further their careers, we are made to feel that the alleged abuse would have never been reported, and that they would not be coming forward today. Cosby has been accused of victimizing these women and then lying to the public. Overall, I am left with the feeling that Bill Cosby isn't the only person who is lying.

A Word About Dateline

I feel the presentation by Dateline also damaged the credibility of Cosby's accusers.. The scene where all of the women are standing on white pedestals, looking defiant and resolute; staring straight into the camera, actually made me flinch, and has Hollywood written all over it. Often, over-dramatization, and a slick portrayal of the news, or real life events, has a tendency to trivialize the event, and damage credibility. Less is more, and this presentation would have greatly benefited from less scripting and staging. It would have also been better if some of the testimony, such as Linda Ridgeway Whitedeer's, had not been included in the program. Someone in the production department was definitely asleep at the wheel.

What's The Matter With Bill?

Now I will focus on Bill Cosby. If the allegations are true then Bill Cosby is dealing with some serious issues. In fact, we can only conclude that Bill Cosby is mentally ill. An average, healthy man is not turned on, or aroused by an unresponsive woman. I have never met a man who shared the fantasy of having intimate relations with a woman who has been drugged, or who is completely unconscious. As a man , I can tell you that it is difficult, if not impossible, to stay focused when the woman you are with is unresponsive, unwilling, or disinterested.

Only an abuser who suffers from mental illness could find pleasure in such despicable behavior. But there is also something that many have overlooked, and I will address it now. When considering the genesis of a serial killer, it has often been stated that the serial killer will begin by killing small animals, and then later graduate to human beings. Likewise, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that a man who enjoys intimate relations with unconscious women, would at some point graduate to necrophilia. Since these alleged incidents of abuse date as far back as the mid 1960's, we can understand that Cosby would have had more than enough time to take the next step. Being a celebrity with access, lots of money, and connections, his lifeless victims would most likely include famous female celebrities. This is a staggering revelation! If it should ever be proven that America's favorite dad not only drugged, molested, and violated the living, but was also a Necromancer, it would be the greatest celebrity scandal of the 21st century, and perhaps of all time!

Sympathy For The Devil

Of course, in spite of the increasing number of women who have come forward, ( over 55 to date) Bill Cosby could still be innocent. We must not forget that money rules the world, and with money, almost any lie can be fashioned into a semblance of the truth. The reader need only look at their own life and understand the validity of my assertion. How many of you have the time and the resources to challenge the United States government, a billionaire, or a multi-million dollar corporation? Do you honestly think that an annual income of less than $100,000 would be enough to meet such a challenge?

Money controls the press, and a majority of people believe nearly everything that is published in the news media. Especially when that media is being delivered by a reputable, and trusted source. A powerful individual, or entity who wanted to destroy someone's reputation, would need only to manipulate the news media. Just use your imagination for a moment. What if a damaging story was published about you? Even if the story was an outright lie, it would be next to impossible for you to reverse the damage done to your reputation. Powerful people can make the world believe that an absolute saint is a criminal, or a depraved monster.

Yes, it is possible that there is more to the story than has been revealed. Perhaps Bill Cosby challenged the status quo,and angered some very powerful people. Perhaps they decided to kill him slowly by humiliating him in public, and by destroying his reputation. Perhaps he is also being used to set an example for other celebrities who might want to leave the reservation. Bill Cosby may even know what is happening to him, and who is behind it, but is unable to tell anyone for fear of an even greater retribution.

Many people are impressed with the number of women who have come forward with allegations of abuse, but that should not be enough to convince us. Many of the stories simply raise more questions. The testimony of the women themselves lends credibility to my suspicions. Nearly all of the women have expressed that they did not come forward sooner because Cosby is a rich and powerful celebrity; that they feared retribution, and that no one would believe them. Understanding that such fears are reasonable, it only follows that if 50,100, or even one thousand women were approached by a powerful individual, entity, or government, and enlisted to help smear the reputation of a celebrity, the fear to speak out, and to reveal such a diabolical plot would be even greater. Saying "NO,I WON"T DO IT!" in the face of such powerful forces, would not even be an option.

Yes, in a world driven by greed, and a lust for power; a world where technology and science have far surpassed our moral and social evolution, it is becoming increasingly difficult to separate the truth from the fiction.

This video is a transformative work that features a clip from the Dateline 2015 episode: The Cosby Accusers Speak October 9 2015 . It also features a short clip of a man getting a Real Bad Shock. The Dateline clip features the account of Linda Ridgeway Whitedeer.

Yes, it is all very confusing. But I'm sure you remember the 1976 movie Taxi Driver with Robert De Niro and Jodie Foster. De Niro's character went from being a would be assassin to a folk hero. Yes, it sometimes appears real life is even stranger than fiction.

Ronnie, I have no way of knowing if Mr. Cosby is guilty or not. There are the women’s stories and Cosby stories and I tend to think the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Do you remember Tawana Brawley? She was the 16 year old who accused 6 white men of repeatedly raping her over 4 days. One of the men she accused was a Police Officer named Harry Crist, Jr., was found dead in his apartment three days later and when a County Prosecutor, John Pagones was the alibi for Crist, he was also accuse of being one of the six men who raped her.

Bill Cosby was one of the celebrities who passed himself off as a good guy who was coming to the aid of Ms. Brawley, strange that he would do that if he were abusing other women. But, did he know that Ms. Brawley’s story was a hoax?

Thank You Venkatachari M ! When I was a child I looked forward to life and living. Now today I looked forward to death, so that I may be reborn into a better world. Perhaps this is not my first lifetime on this Earth, but I pray for it to be my last.

Thank"s for stopping by Jodah. I'm inclined to believe he is guilty, at least to some degree. The "Who" said "We Won't Get Fooled Again" but I've been fooled quite a bit since then. I guess only time will tell about America's favorite dad.

Thank you for sharing your views wrenchbiscuit. I have no idea if Bill Cosby is guilty or innocent. Weight of evidence probably hints that he is, but as you say a lot of the testimonies are questionable at least. You are right about powerful media interests being able to convict people through the weight of constant biased reporting. The Murdoch New Limited corporation brought down a Government in Australia by constantly painting the Government in a bad light and supporting the opposition. I suppose time will tell as far as Bill Cosby is concerned, and I hope true justice prevails in whichever outcome that is.
