Pawky: Bill O'Reilly's Word of the Day on Fox News Channel's The O'Reilly Factor

Updated on September 28, 2013

Bin Laden Ran, and Ran and Ran, But in the End...

We may never know their names, but the Navy Seals who took out Osama bin Laden proved to be as cunning and sly as any international terrorists. They are truly the heroes of an incredibly grateful nation.

Osama bin Laden was cunning, sly, shrewd and pawky for many years. Now, he is just another dead terrorist. May he rot in hell.

Osama bin Laden Was Pawky, But Now He's Dead, Dead, Dead

  • Bill O'Reilly's Word of the Day is "pawky," which means cunning, sly or shrewd, clever and a host of other synonyms, but for the purpose of explaining it in more detail, I am going to refer to the people who come to mind that have proven to be "sly" and "clever".
  • The first person that comes to mind is the very dead terrorist Osama bin Laden. For years he was able to mastermind the killing of thousands of Americans while evading capture. There are very few moments in history that we can all recall exactly where we were when the event happened, but bin Laden was responsible for one of those moments when he managed to plan the attack that brought down the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City.

But bin Laden Turned Out to Be No Match for Some Pawky Navy Seals!

  • No one can forget where they were when they heard that the United States was under attack. Bin Laden managed to successfully plan simultaneous acts of aggression like the United States had never before seen. Within a few minutes, four airplanes were hijacked while in flight. Two of them struck World Trade Center towers, one struck the Pentagon and the other, although averted by passengers, crashed in a field killing all onboard. It was reported that the plane was probably headed to strike the White House, although that report has never been confirmed.
  • Now, however, Osama bin Laden is dead, killed by Navy Seals who proved to be as cunning as bin Laden, executing a stealth mission of attack on a Pakistani compound that turned out to be the home of bin Laden for the past several years. We all want to know the names of the Navy Seals who were responsible for the attack so we can give them the praise they deserve and award them medals, but I hope those names are never released. Those highly-trained, brave men and women need to be free to continue their search for other terrorists.
  • Those pawky soldiers are the reason we are free.
