Blame It On The Weather

Updated on June 19, 2013

It Works For Me

When I am down I say it is because it rained today

It made my bones ache in every way

If I make a mistake I said it's the sun

The bright sun in my eyes I could not see

When I feel sick it was the darn wind

It gave me a chill that went through me

The days that I am lonely it is all the snows fault

So white and wonderful who can compete

You cover all the ground and every child in the world wants to play

Then when your not looking they take a mouthful and eat

Then their are times I am so tired I blame it on the dark clouds that cover the sun

They make my eyes want to close and my body lethagic and limp

When I get all itchy I blame it on the hail

It stings when it hits my face and skin

Well if you are like me

You have a reason to feel the way you do

It's not you

It's not your fault

The weather the weather is to blame for it all

Forget the terrible end. "Tomorrow" is always a new day and if today is your tomorrow, embrace it!

Very amusing take on passing the blame. Can't help how we feel, but we certainly could work and choose to change it. . .that is, if it weren't for the weather!

Ha Ha. This is so good for any Brit.! We talk about the weather "ad nauseum". Now we can blame it too.

      Loved it. Thank you.

      Hi dream-on.

Reasonable. Never thought about blaming weather, which isn't bad idea: good lesson; no one is to be blamed. My game, my rules, I'll play to win and move one.

Leaving weather to continue it's assignment , so with mine.

Life is more beautiful without wasting time blaming ... No bodies fault.

      Voted interesting

DDE So true but then we would have to admit why.We where lazy or not ambitious enough to finish something we started.Gypsy Rose Lee It is funny how the weather can work against us.When we plan a cookout and the weather has been so nice and then it rains.Thanx for reading and sharing.

The weather doesn't always cooperate with us. Best to blame it on the sun which won't shine and they rain which comes down when we don't want it.

The weather is often an excuse for most chores but if one just took the time and planned properly things could much easier.
