Blank white paper

Updated on December 16, 2015

Blank white paper

Lines drawn, characters sketched

Stories written, ideas exemplified

Million lives lived on it

A thousand times

i started , stopped and left the things half-written.

Blank white paper

never ceases to amaze

how an unwritten story

has so much

to talk.

Things

I have no clue about,

how to put across

in white and blue.

How strange of blank white paper?

Knows the destiny, the tale of my life.

I just need to put down

a few lines

and

dots

start connecting together.

From heaven

to

ground,

the

fruits

of

life

falling down.

Incidents

happened in life,

can be seen

as

objects

falling from the sky.

Blank white paper,

Towns drawn on it.

Different counties

passing through

our lives.

The road

I last traveled,

strangely

crosses

right through

the

living room

and backyard,

where i sit in the mornings,

mirror i stand against.

The bed

has

become

a

boat.

In dreams, it takes me to places.

Barefooted,

I

walked

alone.

On

the

surface

of

sea,

you

see

a reflection.

In

the

face

of

concrete world,

you

miss

the presence

terribly.

Blank white paper

is

an

imaginary land.

A place

where

you can live,

if you haven't lived before.

I enact a character, and you play stranger.

Blank white paper

is

God.
