Blind's Eye

Blind's Eye

Shattered dreams becomes all I know

Society has taken over my thrown

I drown in what seems to be the ash

Of a betrayal which has been my path

Blinded by a disguise I thought was real

Cutting open flesh is all I feel

Burns inside of me a feeling of hate

Ready for dark emotions to escalate

Fear rushes is in like waters from a flood

Suffocating as if I was replacing oxygen with mud

Numb and motionless I begin to see

Just how horrible this whole situation can be

I reach for what I can never escape

I wish for what I can never embrace

Again I am blinded with eyes of black

Fading, disappearing with no turning back

I wonder off in a world so damp and cold

I take in my new environment as it unfolds

Changing in front of my blind's eye

I can feel the regrets as I begin to die

Pain and suffering begins to cover me

Brought by the hands of a “perfect” society

Which I will never be normal again

A society which I can never befriend

Blind and suffering to a what I do not know

I being to tear down instead of to grow

I have learned through lessons rather hard

To survive in a world that just wants to scar

Will they accept for who I am and can be

Or will they continue to shred my reality

Will they give me a break and just accept who I am

I believe they will try but they never can

      Awesome poem!

Joel 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

Jeremiah 13:16 Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.

Whosoever calls on the name of Jesus will be saved!
