Blood Roses

Updated on March 17, 2011

Beauty in whose eyes

Love is death

Odor of sweetness

Out pouring of pain

Deceit veiled in petals of softness

Rendezvous between sheets

Ominous epiphany rain tears

Soliloquy of words whispers to a heart

Eglantine dies slowly

Solace in the arms of a lover bleeds

Red Roses

.....well no one does this style as well as you - and kudos to Nellieanna for pointing out what some people may miss - but don't worry about me - I'm wide awake - I don't want to miss a single sacred word - as composed by you!

Fascinating how your first word in each line spells out the title - and so gracefully it could almost be overlooked!
