Let me ask you a question? Do you believe in the paranormal?

‘SARAH’ Expect The Unexpected! Book Review: Horror Poltergeist Activity Ghosts Demonic Possession: 18,000 words short read!

"A story of eerie occurrences could easily happen to you & your loved & cherished ones when you turn out the light in the dead of night when something supernaturally terrifying lurks horrifically inside the cold shadows in the darkest corner of your bedroom waiting to drag you away to hell never to be seen for all eternity!"

You certainly have to experience such a dire situation to experience for yourself & we all like a good horror story, well most of us do anyway, but what do you think about this……

“As you divulge yourself into this novel you will discover many aspects of this creepy horror with an unusual twist at the conclusion are actually based on true events! I have included my own brand of humor at the time but, you may find some of the supernatural incidents a little hard to believe, certainly difficult to comprehend!

So what made me write this book?

Many of us have experienced paranormally strange events of ghostly spirit activity & are even open minded enough to share our experiences, tales & stories with others, whilst there are still many skeptics out there that will tell you what a load of rubbish there are no such things as ghost, entities, specters, paranormal activity or even the un-dead, but how did my own story of horror come about you may enquire?

The setting & the time this horror took place!

Herein I will tell you more concerning my own personal events way back when I was just a 14 year old child in 1974 right here in my home town of Cardiff Wales UK. In Ely to be more precise, enticing me to pen my shocking & eerie events right now into this fast paced horror novel with slight humour & a right scary twist at the end!

Enjoy, & read on with an open mind!

‘SARAH’ Expect The Unexpected!

The book starts off enabling the reader to become aware of the dire economic state of recession, blackouts, price rises, unemployment, picketing, strikes, walkouts & coal mines shutting down all over the country causing upset, turmoil, bloody violence & mayhem which clouded the whole of the nation of Great Britain in 1974 before leading the setting into Ely, giving you a little insight of this rough council estate just outside the centre of Cardiff!

Herein, you will begin to know everything about 14 year old Dale! A school dropout, a skinny kid he loves Bruce Lee he wants to be just like him except, if only he could fight! He’s also a bit of an entrepreneur even way back then when he was just a mere lad, & boy, can he make money too!

Follow his plights, his ups & his downs & his adventures as he travels through his youthful days dodging beatings whilst practicing his Bruce Lee skills, but, this is where the story becomes really interesting, when he decides to help his mums’ single friend Sheila out, by babysitting her kids so she can go out & pull a guy after her recent split with her ‘prick of a boyfriend’ as she calls him & boy, he surely wasn’t expecting the cold horror lurking there for him inside Sheila’s dilapidated old house!

I wanted to find out more!

About the very place I live because of the strange events of haunted houses & incidences I am enquiring about on a regular basis & not only experienced from myself but from friends, associates & others I have spoken to & whom I know personally & on further research of Ely, & even many parts of Cardiff, Wales in the UK I have come up with some vital information, although, you can read the rest of the history inside the book at the epilogue!

There is tons of ancient history surrounding these parts from way back throughout the dark ages of Pagism & the Occult!

If you come visiting this medieval & pretty city, pay attention to the many hidden burial chambers & remnants of churches surrounding the area!

On further research I discovered Wales was inhabited by the Celts way back in 600 BC but the Romans came along and built their fort in 75 AD before Cardiff Castle appeared, plus there is evidence of murderous violence, torture & bloody mayhem as the Vikings & Normans battled furiously over the land.

I noticed, when I study this particular area of Cardiff from a map point of view, many of the houses where strange incidences & scary haunting have taken place seem to lie across straight lines! From one haunted location to the very next one.

So I then come to the final conclusion about the areas past history. And more importantly, the reason for its haunting’! A pattern had emerged right in front of my eyes because of these amazing lines that lay symmetrical right across the map. But these other occurrences experiences & stories I know of, as strange as they seem to you, I will go into another time, in another story or two.

This sounds very good, I'm not working at this time but I will post it for you on my facebook accounts. I'm Lee Lee on facebook and I'll pass the link to this article for you. :) I used a free trial on and found some family lineage back to the Crusaders and William the Conqueor. I don't know if that's good. It also seems that they knew each other in the family to well. I'm also related to his sister by my other side. It sometimes is creepy when you go back so far. Anyway this was an awesome read and I'm sure your book would be great. We have Welsh on the Jones side of my family. We even had a minister from Wales come here, his name was Martin Even-Jones, loved him and his wife. I would love to visit Wales one day. :)

      Thank you DDE.

The story is actually a personal venture, and is based on experience. When I was a lad of 14, I babysat my mum's friend and there were some spooky goings on in that house, I can tell you.

If you do read 'sarah, expect the un-expected,' from Amazon, please I would love your honest opinion in the reviews.

Many thanks again, it is always nice hearing from you DDE and now that I have freed more time up, I will be participating on hubpages more often

Have a nice day, many regards. Dale
