Lead Characters

'All around the mulberry bush
The monkey chased the weasel
The monkey thought it was all in fun
Pop! goes the weasel.'

Meet Tony Prescott. A vivacious, tantalizing, and naughty girl who is fond of singing. The aforementioned lyrics is what she hums enthusiastically, and her mellifluous British accent makes her irresistible. She has had an undying passion for singing since childhood. Unfortunately, she could not pursue a career in it. Her hateful mother, who discouraged her all the time deserves the blame entirely. I must warn you that the dark mystery of Prescott's twisted life has something eerie about her.

Nonetheless, Tony can definitely stun you. If you are a female, you will be envious of her charm. And if you are a male, you will desire her.

Such a dazzling personality she has.

Oh, wait!
I forgot to mention she is a murderer.

If Tony is too much to handle, meet Ashley Patterson. The lead character. An earnest girl who is demure, scrupulous and sensible. She follows the rules and adheres to the code of conduct. Her hostile mother and austere father have led her to live a miserable life. Therefore she prefers simplicity and a less complex environment. Sadly, the other people presume that she is vulnerable, aloof, and defenseless. Especially Tony Prescott who detests her and calls her names such as 'Miss goody-two-shoes,' 'Stick in the mud,' ' Cold fish, ' 'The ice queen.' etc.

Ashley can be a good life-partner or an amazing friend to any person. But she has one major flaw.

She is a murderer!!

If still disappointed, there is another girl whom you will love to meet. Her name is Alette Peters. She is pretty, shy, and interesting. Born in Rome, she has an Italian accent and a classy disposition. Like the other girls, she has had severe issues with her cruel mother. She can be a trustworthy friend who listens and appeases. She is totally the marrying kind.

But, she is a murderer too!

Who has enthralled you the most?

Find out their stories in the novel.

Summary

Ashley Patterson feels frightened by the newly developed intuition that has convinced her that she has a stalker. Her misery worsens when the detective who had been investigating her case, and her co-worker who had been harassing her at work are brutally castrated and murdered convicting Ashley of the crimes as she was the last person to see them.

Meanwhile, Tony Prescott and Alette Peters who work in the same organization as Ashley commit brutal assassinations involving castration for which Ashley faces the indictment.

Then surfaces another murder from her teenage that confirms poor Ashely as a serial killer.

Ashley's father, the renowned heart surgeon, Doctor Steven Patterson has an abominable family secret. He will trust nobody but David Singer to fight his daughter's case. David is not practicing criminal law currently, but because he owes the doctor a huge favor, has no option but to represent Ashely.

During the investigation, David discovers the bizarre secrets of Allete, Tony, and Ashley that nobody is going to believe.

What are those secrets? How will David convince the jury? Ashley feels she has been framed. Is she truly innocent? What connections she has with the hideous murders?
Who is the real killer?

Answers unfold in 'Tell Me Your Dreams!

Read and enter into a state of denial and incredulity.

A penny for a spool of thread

penny for a needle

That's the way the money goes

Pop goes the weasel

— Sidney Sheldon Through Tony Prescott

My Review

'Tell Me Your Dreams' confirms me as one of the biggest fans of Sidney Sheldon. The way he described the excruciating stories of the lead characters has stunned me to the core.
The novel is addictive since the beginning. The end of the novel had left me in a state of wonder and astonishment.

Tony Prescott is my favorite character. Oh, you will love her too. I can guarantee she can impress almost anyone.

What worries me a little is the end. It leaves the consequences to the imagination. Just hope, no more murders happened!

I am very eager to inform every bit of the story. But that will kill the suspense.
And I don't want to spoil the fun.

My rating: 4.5/5
