Box Of Mirrors

Updated on August 11, 2017

Do you see what I see?

This reflection staring back at thee

So familiar, yet who can it be?

Just who is the real me?

This box of mirrors sees no lies

So the truth be told

It has nothing to hide

The truth to be so bold

Do you see what I see?

Many eyes looking for me

Trying to find what’s hidden in thee

I fear nothing less can be seen

This box of mirrors I hold for now

Trapped inside are my lies

My mood turns foul

It has nothing to hide

Shatter this box of mirrors, I will

Releasing the pain of what seems so real

Many pieces scatter around

As I shatter this box of mirrors on the ground

Do you see what I see?

My truth has set me free

I wonder no more about thee

I know exactly the real me

Finding who I was at last

Escaping from the me of the past

Changing who I could really be

Knowing that I could change for me

Fuller.....I like this poem...it's pretty intense. We all have a box of mirrors...don't we? Maybe you did the best thing...We probably should send it crashing to the floor!....UP+++
