"Breath" by Eric Wayne Flynn

Updated on February 5, 2014
Source

"Breath"

Till my last dying

One final gulp to fill my cage

Expanding upon all my blessed days

Relaxing in my body of work

Diligent to the end

Lying in bed with my pen

No need to write no more

The stars shall be my scribe

For they have guided me all along

Dialogue between distant lovers

Destiny; my fair maiden

Fated for a voyage

We shine eternally

My gift to you is your gift to me

Energy

Energy

Energy

I am loved

Thanks Jodah, it's cool to think somewhere in Australia your positive energy is drifting up to the sky. It matters, it counts for sure.

I took a breath as I started reading your poem Eric to see if I could hold it to the end....yep, did it........then let out with a big sigh. So good to feel that build up energy flow out into the atmosphere.....another great poem.
