Hard to Decide -- A Poem

Updated on October 5, 2013

Hard to Decide...

This piece of inspiration came after listening to Kelly Clarkson's song.

Thanks to Kelly Clarkson for the Inspiration...

Inspiration that counts on me
just sneaking into my mind
telling me what should I write
Awe... roller coaster of life...!

Shouting words, that made me glad
falling for the ones that hurt us bad
barely watching our back
easy to say, hard to counter attack

Hard to decide, enough of remorse,
swallowing my pride, finally alone
Back to your crowd, where you belong,
enough of your lies, take back that thong...

Hard to decide, you chose to take the road back,
You really messed it up
Freeing my mind, from your clownish smiles,
You really turned me off

I have learned to love myself
You'd been warned, sweet soul of mine
Is already too late to take you back
I'm the one that laughs last

I knew this was over long time ago
sorry your mom didn't understand
Once again, I'm the one that won
Honey please, I know you are smart

Hard to decide, pack your things and leave,
I feel like crying after all!
Enough of your lies, would you please, please,
turn in the keys of this house...

Can't you just see?
Is really over my sweet 'thang'!

Hard to decide, Hearts that say no!,
Throwing away memories and all
Who is winning now, who is breaking apart,
Funny when I feel like crying after all!!!

Reading your lips, that want to say more,
Is time to depart, that's all I know...
Where is the amour that tied us before,
Enough of sentimental and naked souls

Hard to decide

Hard to decide, who is winning after all,
Pick up your things and go!
Hard to decide, drop the keys and leave,
who is the winner, duh, who was left behind

Hard to decide, where is your soul?

That turned my world upside down
always alone, and you putting me down,
Killed my love that could've last to the end of times

..Hard to decide...

Hard to decide, between feelings that made us as one,
I know you agree on that
Hard to decide
Hard to abide, hard to take back,

Why you are kneeling down,
Why are you crying now...

time to end the words... and think about us?

Why life has to be so hard

I will kneel down as well, at the count of ONE, TWO, THREE!

Why I'm still thinking of thee? Was it just me?

hold my hands and get close to... me!

    Hi there Graham and Eddy...

The inspiration came as the beat was taking over my neurons. I love Kelly's song for the words and the strength conveyed. Everyone experienced heartbreaks and bad moments like these. As writers we transport ourselves back to those hurting moments and the images dictate the words. Thanks for stopping by my UK and Welsh friends!

Hi Joseph. A lovely song and singer. Your words convey such heartbreak and bitterness. Love and life can be so cruel. I see from the comments that you are doing well which is good, you leave your reader wondering with your insightful words.

That's good Joseph. I figured out my sound on the videos now. Well, this still could be a song too. Yes, Kelly's song is great.

    God bless, Faith Reaper

Good evening Faith. This is just a fictional situation mixed with other past experiences as written along with other inspirations. I'm perfectly fine and in harmony with the universe and our creator. Thanks for your kind words as always my friend. Glad to see you stopping by! I love Kelly's this song though! Have a wonderful day/night!

    Dear Joseph,

Yes, life (good and bad) does provide inspiration for writers to pour out their hearts onto the page. What you have written could very well be a song. I listened to Kelly Clarkston's video here earlier and it does seem to say what you are wanting to convey here so well; however, now for some reason, my sound on my laptop is gone and I cannot hear any videos.

The scenario you have written of here is a hard decision to make, and seems one is vacillating between those emotions of "Shouting words, that made me glad" and the other not so good. It seems this is something personal to you and I pray you are doing well and you are not going through a time of hurt, although from these words, it appears that is the case. If so, writing is always great therapy. That photo surely shows you in a pensive mood.

I pray, "do not lose heart" dear friend.

God bless you. In His Love Always, Faith Reaper
