Brighter Pathways

Updated on July 15, 2017

Darkening roadways,

so full of stubble,

all do trip and to hurt.

Bringers of harm,

and of a remorse,

while faces lie in the dirt.

Look to heaven,

remembering our verses,

each one did learn.

How we were raised,

taught good values,

in every way to earn.

Rising to our feet,

each challenge we meet,

without desperation.

Facing a new day,

trying our best all the way,

with determination.

Never giving in,

in every thing we begin,

having a positive outlook.

Walk a brighter pathway,

in all we do, to say,

read our prayer book.

We fall down, but we get up! "Thy Word is a light . . . and a lamp." You do a great job of presenting miniature versions of the gospel.
