.

Come, my Beloved, come!

Hold my hands and let us stagger drunkenly

Beneath the Temple gates,

Swaying with the bliss of Union.

The call of the inner Citadel beckons me,

To the land of the Great Silence.

Sweet One, embrace and sustain me,

As I swoon from the stupor of Your endearing Love,

Where there is no darkness-night,

Only the zenith-pinnacle of Your Love-Delight.

Beloved, cradle me on a bed of deified drapes;

Let Your piercing rays of celestial beatitudes,

Roam freely inside a vessel made empty,

Ready for Your enduring bliss.

Void of all external hindrances,

Let me soak up the cosmic effulgence,

Aglow with the radiance of a thousand suns!!

Loved One, garner this garment,

Tailored to imbibe Your flow of iridescent beauty,

Like myriad rainbows,

Emanating from a yearning Soul.

Sweet intensity! So much to bear and yet,

Let this Spirit turn from the furnace of Maya’s grip.

Let me be lost in trance at the feet of Supernal Truth,

Where birds sing joyfully, oceans dance in grandeur,

As the waves lash on the horizon;

Cascading beacons of shimmering Light,

To guide my way Home.

      Mantita, you always manage to paint the kind of love we only dream of; still we imagine that we can attain it if the mind can create it. Beautiful!

      Quite profound. Some say whatever is in the realm of the mind can be created, Dee. Deepest gratitude.

      Always Exploring: Yes, like my other poem 'Molten Rock' the fire of love burns away our ignorance. Thank you so much!

      jhamann my brother, You're so right.

      With a very small exception, I write essentially of the esoteric, lofty and sublime. Once again, thank you so much!! Peace.

      Blossom: Sweet love to you, and Happy Easter!

      If art was always on a canvas, your form would be painted, too, in sheer eloquence.

      Really sweet of you to say so Avian.

      I am looking for a name that I can use when I recite poetry. Can you think of one? Here are some samples:

      The Bard of Ealing; Wordsmith of Light; Sweet whisperings of Love; add your own.

      Gratitude for your kind comments. Peace.
