Cain And Abel.

Updated on February 7, 2010

Cain And Abel

Of Genius and Lunacy
Of Life and Love,
this is the primordial soup

from which we are born,

genetic choices are made,

on what you will be,

how long you will live,

often how you will die,

all in the amniotic fluids

of love inserted into life,

even your sanity

is formed in the creases

of your raisin size brain,

the frontal lobe enfolds

 bi-polar, and O.C.D.

a level of lunacy often seen

in adolesecents with

no apparent reasons,

older women give birth

to mongloid children,

gentle loving humans

who only get a short time,

Barbara Bush gave birth

to a complete lunatic,

our former commander-in-grief,

what electric synapses

must have short circuited

in his cobwebbed cranium

the day he was born.

Are mass murderers

or any murderer's in general

the result of genetic order,

nature's culling of the herd,

are we born innocent,

or do we come fully loaded

with a blueprint of predestined

behaviors, some brilliant

others sophmoric at best,

Are addictions a flaw

that other healthy brains,

compensate for or do

the addictions themselves

destroy flawless brains,

is love generated by lust at first,

then fondness settling in,

surely cro-magnon man

never took a girl out on a date,

wooing her with mammoth sandwiches,

and fermented gooseberry wine,

so much to yet know and

delight in and yet

we are an ancient people,

living out our lives and love,

amidst the genius

and the lunatics among us.

It seems as though we are all a particle of the primordial soup. Very interesting! And something I've considered before...

I'm having problems with my internet the last few days so if this posts twice, I apologize! :)
