"Calculated Madness"

Plotting, scheming

A doting beauty on her back dreamIn

So in that she can be free

To tell herself the lie, the lie, she in love with thee

The world and everything in it

Trapped in her skin, her cards

Girl had a full house up in that brain

Girl had a dungeon in her attic, cobwebs n broken mirrors, barrel jugs of pain

And porcelain skin, with high cheek bones

A rosy red complexion, with an attitude all her own

A bright sun, with a dark side

A blue moon, a melancholy tide

Ebbing and flowing from, to and through

A beautiful victim of circumstance in a riptide, what does one do...

Call out for help, a life raft, something to hold on to, so one does not drown

Ripping, clawing, dragging me into the riptide, fingernails in the back, sinking down

Into the abyss, that's where we had to go

To the core......

Still

Silent

Eventually we can hear our hearts beat

In the darkness we see the stars

Light to explore our souls

A moment in the sand

Tenderizing each other

Manipulating the flesh

Making a mockery of love

There is malice in our lips

Hunger in our eyes

Lies on our tongues

Meat inside our claws

Madness in our minds

...eventually we can here our heartbeat...I like that, as it follows "still" "silent"...Eric, lots of emotives here, and you stay so well on track in adding up the MADNESS..in a way others can relate!

Hi Christine, we are all mad, due to the fact we are prisoners of our own mind and body, shackles in which we never rid ourselves of. Thank you for visiting, I appreciate it.
