Can I Be Sure...

Updated on June 7, 2012

My mind is racing,

thoughts can't keep up

I feel like a tiny...

new born pup.

What the hell..

Am I doing here

someone help me..

for my eyes are not clear

I try to yell out,

just to make a sound

nobody hears me

I cannot be found.

Even if I squirm and squeal

my heart still...

beats loudly

this I feel.

When you lose your words..

turn... to what you must,

When your voice is dark

who do you trust.

      cleaner3,

If this is a personal exprience, then you are right at the crossroads...

Your line: "When your voice is dark, who do you trust."

My answer: Whenever your voice is dark, you can trust "The Light Of The World" ~ whom is Jesus Christ.

He is 'the answer' for transformation and the 'growth' for which you seek.

      Ciao...Princess Prisca

Trust me on this, your words are not gone,

Your feelings have just been badly bruised.

Your best poems haven't been written or used.

Your poems are great. We await the greatest one.

Interesting Michael. It sounds like you are in a state of mind I can relate to. There are times I feel like I don't know if I'm 'losing it', or if it's coming from "out there". but whichever, you've done an interesting self-study, here. If this is your actual experience, I wish you well and a happier state of mind. as a poem goes, tho' it's excellent, w/ much insight. Take care, my friend
