Can You Hear Me Now, or Maybe Later

Updated on March 11, 2017

Whether it's with a Binary Code or using a complicated geometric design,

Our communication with the stars, dots, dashes, bars, we need to refine.

Crop circles spell it out in plain language, every wheat bread's sandwich,

An intricate compilation, with each new innovation, woven, its every stitch.

Messages so ignored, seen in jest, by foolish folks, are many, a bragger,

Overlooked and often no second look, as they mindlessly go, to swagger.

Continuing to spread the waste, polluting waters and air, to all's despair,

The greedy, the powerful, and rich, ignore it all, disregard and not to care.

Hello out there, listen if you care, your time is almost gone, Earthlings,

Time you paid attention, forget a crazy invention, your days, all ending.

How many circles does it take, a light bulb over you, break, us sending,

The gravy train is gone, no more help, you, are grown, is our intending.

These many past hundreds of years, we've shaped our circles, to no avail,

Your intellect is now a wreck, overcome by subversion, so now does prevail.

Each cloudy thought, by a grinch, is bought, is so well hidden in plain sight,

Chalked up as a tale, has a fishy smell, now to become such a scary blight.

A simple visit by our boys seems to be deemed only as ploys, every attempt,

Strange lights in the night, causes all such a fright, these fly-byes, all exempt.

Daylight visitations seem to cause such reservations, this in the public's eye,

Nothing we do or may say, makes a difference in any way, or how hard we try.
