Can of Worms

Updated on May 10, 2012

Can of Worms

Sin binds sinners to silence

In the end everybody is quiet

Only the voice of liars remain

Gold piece glitter

In a puddle of rain

I dive in face first

Scrape my palms

Observe my gain

My treasure is litter

A reflection of sun

I reach into a can of worms

Curious that it may contain

A token to ease my pain
