Cartwheel of Joy

Updated on August 26, 2012

Wind---cannot we direct where to blow

Though we direct where path to sail

Journey we set alone---life in our own hand

Soar your spirit---let it be free

Alike golden eagle—strong, almighty---sail the sky as its own

Let it be---your mind---whirl and twine like cartwheel of joy

Let the past be set aside---let it not be treasured thy heart

---What’s treasure--- positive---let own self be true---focus what’s beyond horizon

Keep strong---be faithful---continue dreaming---to the rest will follow

Cartwheel of Joy

chanroth, Nice analogy with the golden eagle, which sails "the sky as its own", directing its own path by giving consideration to, or sometimes opposition to, the patterns and flows of winds.

      Appreciatively, Stessily

Wonderful free spirited and fun poetry. This brings me back to my teens and earlier (hehehe....) when I managed cartwheels with ease... unlike now... as I have to do them when no one is around. :P

I love the Title you chose. Maybe all your bad feelings can slip away on the out going tide.

      Voted up and beautiful, Joyce.

Just loved the photo. I can't count the times I have seen my children do cartwheels on the beach in the sand. And so true it allows the worries of the world to drift away. Joy is wonderful!
