Soon after, he conceives again
It takes long for him to see the gain
When babies cry in mother's tender hands
it's because they desire father's stronger hands
Even when things were not rosy
He made sure mother and children looked classy
Some men would have taken to their heels
He stick around because he was no heel
Strange noise in the wee hours ,he staked his head
Blankets and pillows covered our heads
Crying back home beaten by some kid our age
He gave us courage and that gave us the edge
Teenage years was fun and carefree
He made sure we cared but still free
As we become adults he was finally delivered
Then he become completely relieved
They say a gift of flower is too emotional
But we need to flower our love to make it functional
