Chief corner stone
When i was a little lad,people took me for granted because my parents were poor, we hardly see three square meals in a day,Mom toiled day and night to support the family while Dad kept two jobs to make sure that we ate at least once a day.
There was the seven of us and i am the first child, i dropped out from school at a tender age of 12 and joined an uncle in trading but that did not eased things for my parents. Dad was always pissed off about the whole situation but Mom always encouraged both him and us. The law in the family was never get sick or injured because there was no money for medical bills and honestly i never felt sick as a kid nor did any of my siblings.
The society we found ourselves in was a society where the rich holds it all and the poor is a no body, education pays but then it is an easy value for whoever that has a sponsor but for us, education remained a thing to struggle for.
I left for City when i was 18 because my uncle got killed in a motor accident, I thought that the city was a place one can survive easily but then life of the poor is the same no matter where you are but one thing that is constant is the grace of God which never changes.It is for everyone no matter your class, creed and race.
I labored in the city for three years but at a time felt that there was no God.
"Even if
there was, it doesn't exist for my family." I toiled day and night in the farm and in the poultry to make ends meet perhaps he is sleeping,i mean God,it seem that he has slumbered.
Happiness is not my portion if i must be honest.At 18,i looked ten years older than my age mates. Evidence of my daily dose of hard labor.
He is sleeping
He has slumbered
Where is my prayer going
I have prayed all the prayers
Yet there is no answer
Where will i cast my burden
There is something called Rainbow.
We all have our rainbow,some people see theirs at birth,some at old age,some see theirs some time in their lives but the fact is that,we all have our rainbow.Some of us work hard towards it,some get to it with tears and tribulations.
It comes to those felt abandoned at God's time, a day came in my life and i saw my rainbow,it is the appointed day and the stone the builder rejected became the chief corner stone.

Oh my son i know that you are there
I am the God who made you
Say
your suffering is a curse i am ready to lift it
Say your toiling is a
curse i am ready to drop it
But if you look at your life
You will
see that you are the shining star
But nothing good comes so easy

it takes a cross to wear the crown
You are the chief corner stone
The
stone the builders rejected
It is a promise for you and it is your
destiny

his own time, his blessings flows for all
It is not by power but by
his mighty grace

will recognize you
