"Nothing I just helped him cry"

Updated on March 28, 2008

I have watched children for many, many years now..and there is one child that I can never forget...He is the most sweetest, caring special boy I know..Never complained...was always smiling....cared about all the creatures God's given us...and loves his mom very, very much...as well as his wonderful dad...

But one day when a neighbor of mine was feeling very sad..and he had been our friend for a long time... lost his wife and was sitting on his back deck... not seeming to happy...we went to try and cheer him. The chickens were out running around, the sun was shining, but he seemed down....So we gathered some fresh brown eggs, placed them in a basket and walked up to his deck....As I went inside to put the eggs in the refrigerator the little child I was taking care of , went and sat on the man's lap, cause he seemed to be crying....I placed the eggs in in the refrig. and we then went back to my house, we were next door neighbors you see.....

When we returned...I asked Andrew what he said to my neighbor?... his answer was " Nothing I just helped him cry"..as tears welled up in my eyes...I gave him a big HUG.

You are also a reflection of the children you care about and for. This is a reflection of the love children feel...very deep and real.

Kids are truly angels. They teach us with their sweetness and innocence--childlike yet profound. :-) Thank you for the inspirational story that made me smile and feeling warm inside.

All children are gifts of God and for those of us you have had healthy children be born and grown up. Thank God!

For those who are not born well or take a backward mark after birth, our heart goes out to them.

Some very close friends of ours had a new grandaughter born on Friday and was born at 21 weeks. Very Very small weight. Very sick.

Eileen...is to bad for us...the children can teach us..and we think we teach them?  Maybe that's what God planned..We show them how to become adults and they remind us how to be natural again.....G-Ma :o) hugs

JTY...Yes he is my little Angel and Thank you for your sweet comment...and welcome to the hub pages..it is fun and a learning experience for me anyway..G-Ma :o) hugs

Kids are not afraid of being themselves, thats why they act naturally. Whereas an adult is aware of being afraid of being laughed at, or similar. They do not want to be embarrassed. Lovely natural and caring, image of love.
