What a delightful poem of songs from the playground! Hmmm, I do remember some of those you have here, but as to playground, well, I remember one we sang while we jumped rope outside, "Not last night, but the night before, twenty-four robbers came knocking at my door. I asked them what they wanted, and this is what they said . . .Spanish dancer turn around, Spanish dancer touch the ground, Spanish dancer give a high kick . . . Spanish dancer get out of town." Strange little song to jump rope to while playing outside. That is the one that popped into my head. Thanks for bringing back some memories. Voted Way Up In His Love, Faith Reaper
