She's a kids' author who's grateful for many things. Only, Jesus is her ultimate love! She hopes the Lord is yours too!

Children possess an innocence capable of grasping the concept of God, if you introduce the Lord in a loving manner right when they begin to speak in sentences. God reminds us, if we teach kid's about him when they are older they won't depart from the faith.

This is great since your children will learn to rely on the guidance of God gently nudging their hearts when they are in a sticky situation at school or the playground. Besides, they'll begin to experience the present of God in their lives at an early age. This will definitely help them to make better choices when you are not there to tell them what to do. And the best part is they begin to understand what is right and wrong.

Your youngster most likely won't be able to comprehend the major concepts presented in the Bible. It's up to you to present material that's easily understood in an age appropriate way.

Honestly, knowing that God is near is comforting, and discovering he is reachable is heavenly.

Mum, where is God living?

God is everywhere son.

Well, where is he, then? I cannot see him. Where can he possibly be?

Timmy, God is in every living thing you see around you.

Is God on the moon?

No, he is not.

Is God in a tree?

No.

The essence of God is in all living things.

Does God make the tree leaves sway?

Yes, he does.

Is God in a flower?

No.

Is God in the air I breathe?

Yes,he is. God is everywhere when you simply look for him, where you are.

Is God in a car?

No, God cannot be in a car. However, he is inside the person who is driving, if the person believes in him. You cannot see where God is physically, since God is a spirit. God always knows where you are though, and he will keep you safe forever. God is in every person who loves him.

Can I write a letter to God?

Yes, you can talk to God about anything Timmy. What will you tell him?

I will ask God to touch the hearts of people who do not believe in him. What happens to these people who do not believe in God, Mommy?

I am not sure, son. These people have a different view of the world God created.

What do you mean, Mom?

Well, people who do not believe in God think they evolved into a life somehow. They think there is no heavenly place where God lives. These people need God's grace.

This is really gloomy Mom. Can someone tell these people they are in the wrong?

Sure, a person can tell these people about God, except, they still will not believe He created everything from nothing. Yes, Timmy, you are a special person, because God loves you dearly, and knew you before you were born.

Is this why I believe in God?

Yes, it is so, Timmy. You are a child of God just like me.

Does God Have Many Children?

Yes, he does. God has one incredibly unusual son named Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin named Mary. Jesus died for the people who love God. Christ shortly came back to life, and now God offers people who believe this an everlasting home in heaven.

This sounds awesome, Mom! Therefore, I know when I am older, I will be nearer to God, and be able to see Jesus in person when it is my turn to get to heaven. Now, is God in my stomach?

Yes, he is.

My stomach is growling. Does this mean God wants me to eat?

Yes, he does.

I want a fresh cup of strawberries, Mom.

Here is your dessert, love.

Thank you, Mommy.

Once children understand God created everything and that they were with God before they were born, they they can see how special they are to God. Children do not need a baptism to enter the kingdom of God, since, they already are a part of it. They can't sin before the age of accountability. A disabled child is protected by God's grace regardless of their understanding.

Once children reach puberty their comprehension soars and they know when they are doing something wrong. Perhaps, it could be lying or taking something that doesn't belong to them. Or worst yet, it could be an interest in the opposite sex before they are ready to commit.

It's up to you not to say I told you so or nag them about mistakes. Children will simply tune you out. Except, when they feel the presence of God in their lives, they'll know not to involve themselves in sticky situations, nor do notorious things or lie. They'll know to be honest, kind and forgiving and considerate of others.
