Chivs86 Poetry -
We was happy to hunt Deer & Bison
but when the Lions come we was frightened.
So We swapped our bows & arrows for guns
Sportsmanship & having fun
We weren't ready for farming and organization
and although that we liked it
It still weren't enough
Why we evolved into murderers.
How warfare became the burden of us
The same humankind who once learnt to love
had developed hate.
Went insane at the thought
that we here all want the same things.
In our evolution
it soon developed into slavery and Institutions
Separation, and racial segregation
for economic acclimatisation
Manipulation, of each and every single one of us
swayed by the ways of our own indoctrination
Like something missing from us sisters & brothers
Love hidden from the monsters we've become.
But where did it all start going wrong?
Can we really blame Adam & Eve for their spawn?
and are we Victims from the day were first born,
Of society's lock? Where will it all stop?
Will we find peace for all,
on this planet, or as astronauts break the rules?
As We evolve, will our answer be growth
or will we create more problems
as more problems get solved?
Only Time will tell this to us all
what we're doing here
for the answers we seek
the only clues
our getting through each day
a big part of our E-volution.
My Idea & Inspiration for this one came really both from the same thing. I was sitting in the passenger seat of my uncles car maybe about a month ago, and i was reading the Sun. In it was the most interesting article about evolution, and how mankind in the last century has reached the latest stage of changing by becoming Homo-Techno's. It went on to say how as savages we remain partially at heart. How we have always struggled to adapt, to social advances and how the savage beings in all of us - can find it sometimes to much to handle.
I never kept the article & actually i'm quite annoyed that i can't find it on the internet anywhere, but anyway This is my Poem & that was my inspiration. Enjoy & feel free to comment your thoughts.
