Christine Joyce in The Land of Dreams

Updated on May 27, 2012

Christine Joyce woke up in the middle of the night and looked out the window. At the edge of the woods she spotted a very small person. No, wait. There were two. About six inches tall. This amazed CJ who thought she surely must still be dreaming. She gave herself the standard dream test by pinching herself very hard. All that did was hurt. And the people were still out there. CJ quickly dressed, snuck out the back door, and went around the house just in time to see them disappear into the woods.

Christine Joyce silently followed them as not to scare them. She was glad she could see good in the dark. After a little ways of walking they disappeared through some vines. Slowly lifting the ivy up, she peeked inside and saw a little village of miniature people. No wait. They looked more like elves. All of a sudden, CJ fell into the vines and got tangled in them. The little people quickly scattered and by the time she got loose they were quickly disappearing. Christine Joyce started flying after them. Yes, she was actually flying.

CJ thought this must be some magic associated with the elves. Continuing to fly, she started going higher and higher until she was flying through space. Soon she landed on the Moon at almost the same spot where her rocket landed, so many adventures ago. The people of the Moon came out of the city, greeted her, and offered her some cheese. After eating the moon cheese, Christine Joyce became really sleepy and laid down on the moon to take a nap. She had to laugh as she fell asleep, thinking she was the first person from Earth to sleep on the Moon.

CJ woke up in bed, bewildered and confused. The she realized it was all such a silly dream. She laughed at herself as she realized the pinch test does not always work. She got out of bed to have breakfast and plan some real adventures for the rest of the day, but deep down inside, Christine Joyce knew they would not be as exciting as the adventure in dreamland.

Check out below for CJ' most awesome adventure

Very good, a book sounds like a good idea, am sure it would go over.
