Circular circus lifestyle - Our Voices Day 5

Updated on December 15, 2013

You choose to design a circle

A intricate circuit of majestic circles

Pressure yourself because others are watching

plan out your arrival

your departure

Every circumference you surface

There's gated walls and you lead this online community

There are fences to keep the animals in

Guards to keep the people out

A massive Elephant trainer

Big dumbo ears is the Lion tamer

You're the silly clown that amuses the crowds in Billions

Facebook is your stage

Twitter is your beacon of hope

As folks stumble upon each preset diameter

They all watched the life of Pi

remembering the Tiger who travel along side you into Oblivion

Your boat no longer navigable seeking After Earth

Your legs almost got bitten off by a Vampire

not sure if he belongs in this story fairy tale poem

You leap suddenly up for joy

After performing

You're like action Jackson with stunts

flipping and hopping around as Evil Kinevil

Like a wild animal that trained you

This is your circle of life

You thrive on it as Youtube views roll in by the Billions

A sure reason to make love to this virtual realm of play with World War Z

@rasta1, You got it right Rasta, many years back I dibbled and dabble in the Engineering departments of Manhattan College, located a borough known as the Bronx New York, Riverdale.

It was a cool school to attend, and I had tons of pressurised fun there while trying and attempting to become one of those overly technical rigged minded folks who design buildings, tunnels, bridges and the likes.

It was civil engineering I was after, I shall return to such escapades soon, but for now playing with words has become so much fun, I don't wanna stop LOL :)

Thanks for the cool comment, for sharng & all. You surely are a very intuitive person indeed, & a great assumption that is 1000% correct!

@Gypsy Rose Lee, Yay you loved it Rasma, I'm so happy my virtual techniques of breaking apart this world of online everything worked. LOL its too fun to play with such thought processes, as we all know we are stuck together like glued rotating mammals in a electronic zoo of sorts Hehe!!

Thanks for sharing with me, it is so cool to have you as a guest of this bugged out poem I unleashed, I have many more in the works. Feel free to jump on in and write a 'Our Voices' poem yourself if you wish, and I know you already done so on our cool new group we got going. These fun new age poems are to hit FB groups soon! :) stay tuned.

I have always had the impression that you are a maths major or a fanatic of geometry. This was a very interesting poem with some humor. Great expression.

Thanks @ImKarn23, LOL yes indeed this poem is all about "You" maybe that shall be the next title of my next "Our Voices" poem hint, hint.

Yup its about us all, we all own this online community thingy, we swoop in for the kill and swoop out to hide for cover and safety time and time again.

The only circle I left out is the ones many folks hardly ever surface unless they're tech geeks or photographers today, and that is G+ :)

welllllll....ok - to a degree...LOL..i do not have dumbo ears and i've only watched youtube to find a video for a hub!

I also think you already know that - while i DO care about people loving me - i don't care enough to change who and what i am!

      So there!

Other than that i found myself nodded in agreement the entire read..sigh..

love ya Mikey - up, up and away!

@MrsBrownsParlour, Yep I love the foreplay of this online world and as things have shifted to online everything where folks felt pressured to offer up anything and everything.

All of that just to gain some sort of online social acceptance or web rep that's worth potential money in the end for many and to be faced with having to run back into these virtual circles again. Funny stuff indeed.

Interesting depiction of this new phenomenon, the online community culture. Lyrical and creative approach!

Thank you @LaThing, its the only way for me to oppose all the negativity out here in this world, by creative a realm all of my own, I can maybe help others to free their minds a bit more. It's my truest purpose as a poet today, freedom of mind and heart :)

I can't exactly say I'm in love with the virtual world but I do recognize the need to become familiar with it. Nice job of capturing the beast we all must deal with, Mike. You are a poet at heart for sure.

      Have a great weekend buddy!
