Sexuality and Acceptable Language

By Tony DeLorger © 2011

Being a writer, I often just play with words, and see where it takes me. Sometimes these exercises lead to poetry or a monologue for an example. The beauty of creative writing and particularly poetry is there are no limitations and creatively one can go where one wants to. That of course brings up the boundaries of acceptance about subject matter and in this case sexuality.

Years ago I would not have even looked at writing something like ‘Clitaclysmic’. But now, in all honesty, I can’t see a problem with it. Masturbation is not normally a subject for discussion and still carries a certain stigma. But we know that most people do it and these days it is more likely to be discussed on some level.

So here’s my experiment; an explicit poem about sexuality. Will anyone give a shit? Who am I going to upset: religious people, older people? You know, I don’t really know. So read this- after all they are just words; they have no intent other than depiction and of course I don’t want to upset anybody, but maybe I will. You be the judge.

Clitaclysmic

By Tony DeLorger © 2011

Cataclysmic, altruistic clitoral stimulation,

seismographic empathetic verging self-awareness getting.

Rhythmic pounding groan resounding, nipple crunch and nerves abounding.

Purpose tearing, flower weeping, rivulets of moisture seeping.

Head a thrashing, fever rising, eyes clinched tightly sympathising.

Muscles flutter, opened wide, pleading for this sin reside.

Pleasured moment rushing fast, consuming all in mindless pass.

Deepened swell of ecstatic gushing, rising to explosive hushing.

Arched back and spasm clenching, release and fluttered moisture leaching.

Hardly groaning, mind encroaching, letting pass the swell now fading.

Body falling back to earth, on razor’s edge the swollen mirth.

Clitaclysmic consequence, done rendered all in peaceful sense.

Cool! I was so naughty that HP took the ads of this hub. Interesting experiment. I'll write about anything- just love the challenge. Thanks Sam.

I honestly laughed for a solid minute at 'nipple crunch'. Proof that once again, you can write something amazing on any topic.

I think that was very well done! Great job! I don't see any reason why people should get offended by the topic of sex... after all, it keeps the world populated :)
