She emerged cloaked and shrouded

telling everything but giving away nothing

All the mystery and secrets lay beneath her eyes.

Appearing content but having to contend with her inner turmoil.

Cloaked in her long, flowing locks and long flowing gowns

Disguised amidst the fires within her.

Her weight now heavier. A disguise to the past.

Who would know her now from those days?

Who would she want to know from those days?

She still laughed.

With her eyes. With her mouth.

But was always on guard.

Always disguised, cloaked and shrouded.

Very, Very nice my friend. I agree with b. Malin -- I felt like you were discribing me as I tried to live my hidden life. Great!
