Cloud Signs (Poetry by GalaxyRat)

Updated on June 25, 2017

White swirls in the sky, twisting and turning

To fill up the page.

The evening red that spikes at sundown

Holds evidence of rage.

You told me to meet you by the water

where the sky is reflected inside its curving lines.

The grey patchwork quilt of grey

Looks like cloud signs.

As blackness turns and covers the sky

And the raindrops come down and mark the end of day,

We head home, and think of the cloud signs

And what the angels were trying to say.

Thanks Flourish. The strawberry moon matches well, no? :) Thanks for stopping by.

I like how your images seem to synch so well with your poetry.
