Cocoon - A Tough Enterprise

Updated on April 23, 2017
The cocoon
The cocoon

The petrified worm,

in silken shield,

it is concrete reinforce

nourishing yield.

There’s strenuous effort,

and emerges the butterfly,

elegant and free

from the redundant, abandoned cocoon.

Beautiful thought. The cocoon though abandoned is a way of nature to revitalize itself, as it gets broken down to elements. Everything goes back to nature and come back from it. We as humans are emotional but nature is designed to keep life alive on earth irrespective of our human nature. We have to get in sync to it and be free.

The bursting free from the cocoon to the caterpillar stage, involves both creativity and destruction. This made me think of what someone said to me yesterday. That, when destruction comes into you life, it just maybe the mode of transporation to get you on track to reach your new way of being, your new life. At the time you do not see it because of the raw hurt but if life is a pattern of where we do better if we learn to connect the dots rather than not, together with adding self belief into the equation- all will eventually will be well-in the new way. Nice poem Debangee
