Think before you leap

Updated on August 17, 2015

Think before you leap

They say

They...the ones that give advice

cuddled so tightly in their homes with their loves

Loving and not lonely

But them...the they that give relationship advice

Not advising you that they once cried and begged and compromised

compromising on love after they lost some amazing people

Amazed at how much knowledge they have

Having lived 2000 years and loved 500 times

500 hundred different ways under 500 hundred different circumstances

In those circumstances they became all knowing

Know what you should do

Doing what they say as they sit warm cuddled in their beds with their loves

Wait for age to mature you they said know them

The thems that had no choice but to wait

Choosing one bad apple after another

but each apple filled their bellies and the core was thrown away

Throwing away soul mate after soul mate

Palette bitter with the ideals of what they think love should be

Being not content in the simple loves placed in front of them

And finally worn and weary the new in front of them looked like gold

And the them... the they... the ones whom give advice

Lay comfortably in their beds with their Loves giving advice

I have found it best to listen to my heart and not what other people think I should do, say or feel.
