Come Here For A Minute

Updated on March 26, 2013

I Will Be Right There

Isn't it funny how we are asked to drop what we are doing to help someone

Sometimes I'm busy too

But I reaized long ago most of the things I am doing can wait

When I usually walk over when my wife calls me

It is something on the news she thinks I will like

She is watching a cooking show and sees a recipe she wants to try

She called me when the Blizzard of 2013 was coming

I said this better be good

I was reading a story can't it wait

I said it will probably be nothing

Boy was I wrong and now we joke

Don't say another word

You know what you said last time

It's over in a flash

So she calls me and reminds me to hurry

Other times are cat is real silly

Caught in the strangest places

Once hanging from the curtain 6 feet in the air

Even a few times she felt instantly in the mood

Boy did fireworks go off that night

So I hope your like me and if someone special calls to come quick

Don't say What ?

I'm busy

What do you want ? sarcastically

Stop what your doing and you might be really surprised what you find

It might make your spine tingle then your mind

Oh I love it now when she says come here

Quick your going to miss it

It was a video on t.v. she thought was really funnny

It was a childhood actor that has aged

i can't beiieve that is the same person

As we all change without notice

It is our love ones who care

Sharing part of their day with us

Sometimes when we are doing different things

One single thought brings us back together

If I was you I would go but it is not a must

It's those come quick moments which pass by too fast. Sometimes a share really matters and darn, if you don't get there in time.

Sparklea You are so right.Sharing and caring about the people we love the most. Why wouldn't we want them envolved in something exciting we see.kj force Even if are interests are different we can all bend once and awhile. Our differences are special to.To keep life challenging and new.We can live our whole life and never get bored.Mhatter99 You have many stories tucked under your hat I am so curious to hear them all.DDE You are right. When I am writing I feel like if I get up I will lose my train of thought.Just maybe it will give me a new view I never seen before. To soon to tell.Thanx everyone for all your wonderful comments and most of all reading another slice of me.

When one is buys time flies by and to get things done in a hurry you just don't want to be disturbed.

It took me awhile to realize this. Fortunately I learned before my kids were born.

DREAM ON...as you said and I think true...it's the little things in life we love and remember, because they ARE the important ones....waiting to share ones' day with their lover can be exciting... and then.. there's the lover who could care less , as there is no interest...thus one suffers...

      cool poem....enjoyed

Dream On: voted UP and USEFUL! What a unique topic, but something that MANY can relate to.

I am the "culprit" with the 'come here' phrase to my husband. Especially if I see something on the computer...I certainly cannot bring the screen to him...

The best part of your hub is your advice at the end. It's so easy to argue and ask what one wants rather than just getting up and going to the caller. AND, if it is your spouse, it really does not matter what it is.

SO many marriages suffer from boredom and even being ignored and husband and wife not communicating. 'Come here' is an actual sharing with your spouse.

Thanks again for a topic I never would have thought of! Blessings, Sparklea :)
