To Cynthia, With Much Love

Come walk with me, My Beloved, Come!

Together we’ll penetrate mountains;

Calm many storms. We can do this, You and I…

Pass through the crowded gangway;

Abandon our troubles for one day.

Do You see the smile of beauty,

On the face of the glorious horizon?

Come walk with me, My Beloved, Come!

Let us stride through this stormy river;

Stand firm in the blustering tornado.

The hand of resolute courage pushes me on;

This Heart bleeds a sanguine crimson hue;

While my Soul Delights in its struggle for Freedom,

Marching against the tides of Time.

Come walk with me, my Beloved, Come!

Here in this veil of struggle;

Let Your bow twang a merry beat;

Dance with the rhythmic flow of adversity;

Talking to the gods of equilibrium.

Nay! Pause to the wafts of gardenias;

Rise to the song of the morning’s dawn.

Come walk with me, my Beloved, Come!

Touch this longing of eons, with Your emblazoning Love.

More and more I’m drawn towards You, O Lover,

Like the moth to the flame.

These eyes weep, while the Heart speaks eloquently,

Burning from the Light of Your beauty,

Still dancing and shining within a thousand flares!

Come walk with me, my Beloved; glimmer before my very eyes!

These ephemeral shadows of life has haunted me enough.

Now I wish to bask, only in the splendour of Thy sweet silhouette,

Blowing kisses to the moon of Thy lips;

Perched on the indigo blue rays of Thine infinity.

Come! Today a trillion stars of welkin’s vast,

Gather together their eminence in Thy name;

Paying homage in unison with a thousand salutations.

Come walk with me, my Beloved,

Let us embrace this great moment of infinitude. “Come!”

      Yes, Bro. My comment, not for the first time, has disappeared. I was saying that I brewed it from the finest vintage in France, along the Château d'Yquem of Bordeaux. (smile) A mighty fine wine, this. Chuckle, chuckle ...

      Yes, Audrey, getting to know her. I'm so glad she is. Thank you so much!
