Come Back (poem)

Updated on May 30, 2015

Come back to where it all began

Came whisper floating mid the air

Recalling from a timeless span

From dream along forgotten care

A dream of flowers brushed by dew

Which sparkle from their endless field

Of promises a season drew

Imagined flavors now revealed

A dream across eternal bridge

Extending over what may be

To shores of paradise’s ridge

And breathe in possibility

A dream of not so far away

Warm blanket of a crystal sky

A memory to touch a day

Tranquility for questions why

Come back come back persists a breeze

A whispered dream I can’t dismiss

Forever’s wishes will appease

When I engage my lover’s kiss

Beautiful imagery here, Martin. You truly have a way with words.
