Comin Out Poem

Updated on February 1, 2010

The Closet

The Closet

Your Locked In Your Closet

You Sit All Alone

Your Not Happy But Sad

You Just Sit And Moan

Well Walk To The Door

And Turn The Knob Round

Step Out From Your Closet

Put Your Feet On The Ground

Come Out From Your Closet

From Inside Your Hell

And Shout Out Your gay

And Live Your Life Well

No More Of Your Hiding

No More Of Your Tears

Cause When You Come Out

Live Your Happiest Years

Now You Have Read This,

You Know What To Do

Believe In Yourself

And Your Wish Will Come True

Cal, this is great! So simple (seemingly), to the point and VERY POWERFUL!

Best of luck to you son. Kudos, I know it took courage. Our eldest grandson is too, way out west and a real character in his solon. I really don't mind, we love him. Peace and love, CC

Nice poem. Everyone should come out of their emotional closets. Would be a happier world if people excepted people for who they are.
