Comparing God's Love - A Poem of Reflection

Updated on March 25, 2011

Comparing God’s love

To what humanity bestows

Is feeble in comparison

Like soot on the white snow

Exhilarating is His compassion

My soul soars to greet His own

Bound by His sweet Spirit

I am never alone

Humbled by His great mercy

My heart bleeds for those doomed

Extending my all to them

So they are not consumed

For how will they know?

Of the Savior’s sweet love

If they never see it within us

As a reflection from above

So shine His love upon

And extend mercy’s touch

Being an example of Him

Never it be too much
