Constancy bares the greatest rewards,

in the pursuits of will,

yet pursuit by nature infers an illusory mark,

one requiring a planned and ardent undertaking.

This force of will and intention,

gives strength to its objective in the creation of balance,

thus proving the harder we push,

the more resistance we encounter.

Constancy of thought and action ensures wanted outcomes,

only if those actions are not forced, not pushed,

but instead enforced by a serene and justifiable will,

one not governed by the desperation of ego.

The greatest movement comes from the ability to be still,

to be serenely at rest when the mind can focus,

and then the will joins a stream of positive flow

that can readily manifest in the physical world of men.

Constancy is a commitment to a righteous undertaking,

unaffected by an unrestrained ego and pure in resolve,

always striving for betterment and a positive outcome,

not just for the self but for all.

We humans are flawed and simple creatures,

who require the repetition of thought to maintain intensity,

and to remain focussed on what is both appropriate and needed,

in the pursuit of dreams.

How we ensue, with all our complex judgement and perspectives,

gives rise to success or failure,

but constancy above all is the builder of roads,

and the finder of destinations.

Glean what you can from life's treasured lessons, and take them into your heart. For the head can play tricks on an unsuspecting ego, yet the heart, if one is willing to listen, will always tell you the truth. Honesty is a valued asset with introspective inquiry.

I absolutely love the photo at the top of this hub. I might have hopped, but the stunning image made me stay.

That said, I don't know anything about poetry, but I do know great writing when I see it. And I see greatness in the style, humility in the writer, and an eloquence in the prose.

I especially like the take-away thoughts at the end of the hub.
