Deeper Still

Updated on April 6, 2011

just another fancy fable

a fabulous duplicate

spread out for you

just another widow waiting

a mere shadow of the truth

if you want to watch it linger

ill grab a stool for you

unless you'd like a high horse better

but just as well

it might turn out to be a mule

just another peaceful moment

disturbed unreadily by the truth

just another preacher preaching

of the one thing he knows not of

just a little simple sonnet

of profits paupers and kings

just another merchant selling

nothing needed....just...things

and another lady crying

tears of eminence stained already

just another succubus spewing

what she thought was to be desired

caught off guard by the fowl taste of lethargy.

just another thoughtfull knowing

that all of this is merely lies

but even so to go on sewing

when you know the blanket

will end up only for the eyes.

Rumpelstiltskin failed his game

the truth soaks through the sheets

and then to find the truth so unbecoming

more disappointing to the weak.

unannounced and unpredicted

slammed from somewhere Ive not been

the darkened forest deep within me

i guess goes deeper still.

Hey Stephanie, I left a comment on Facebook, with some regards as to your statement. However, I wouldn't exactly say it was about "war", but I would say it is about struggle. I would say that they struggle going on is actually between you and the people outside you. It seems that the struggle is with more than one outside you and coming from those who claim to be better or above you. To overcome that struggle is to continue the path you're presently walking and sooner or later you'll find those people truly do not matter. You shall find peace if you keep pushing. That's the best explanation I can come up with your writing. I hope it helps you in some way. ;) :D Btw- that weirdness could just be that you are growing in awareness. Again, I would embrace it, until it passes. :) Sooner or later, you'll begin to see it as normal and still see that you are growing as a person. :)

I sat down at the computer to look at my stuff, and for some reason i started a new hub.

I wrote this without even thinking about it truthfully

the rhyming amd everything else about ti was unintentional. To tell you the truth i cant even tell you where it came from all except for the last 2 lines.

It felt like it came through me rather than from me. I was very disturbed by the situation and angry when i read it to someone aloud, and they said it was about war.

I have no idea what this is about, im starting to think i have MPD. lol.

So, ive been weird since yesterday, and the weird feeling is getting even weirder. Im holding onto it today to see what becomes of it. The weirdness. Anyway, thank you and id love som thoughts on the meaning.

the truth soaked through the sheets -- whoah, that is heavily layered with meaning. Like the reference to that one little guy, though I can't remember his name (wink).

An interesting read, that's for sure. A very nice expression. I'd agree on deeper still. I was very glad when I searched myself, understood myself on a level I knew nobody else could understand. It's an interesting story on how I reached that point, but not for your hub. :) Thumbs up!
