Content to stop time
When he smiled, his eyes lit up. As a blaze from a fire buring eternal deep in his soul.
And I was content to stop time, and just bask in his gaze.
When he spoke, his voice was an ocean of depth; both calming and confounding.
And I was content to stop time, and be consumed by the waves.
When he laughed, it was music more angelic than a thousand choirs.
And I was content to stop time, to attend my favorite symphony.
When he loved, it was as if the world opened up, yet closed at the same time. The world was alive and magical. Yet, standing in his presence, nothing else existed.
And I was content to stop time, and love him just as fierce.
