Corid Dream

Updated on July 6, 2014

Bloody, Curdling
Scream of mine

In a hospital bed
This time

Dreaming real
A world of fake

Unable to move
To shake, escape

Peer around the room
I see

Bloody nurses
Surrounding me

Lined behind
A wall nearby

Men and woman
Gagged and tied

All their limbs
With gaping holes

Surgical drains
Inserted tul

Lain upon
Metal beds

Some are lost
Or nearly dead

A vessel braces
Gallons of blood

Just for fun

Pumped for meters
Dripping on tiles

Ghostly doctors
Run the halls

Scraping, drilling
Sounds the walls

The dimming lights
fall to blend

Grudging staff
Wih filthy hems

Man attempts
To escape his fate

They rule a game
Hide and sake

They catch him soon
Slit his throat

Dampening noise
Around the room

The nurses turn
Look at me

I close my eyes
Count to three
