Have you ever experienced, true love?

See results

A beautiful young lady.

Walked down the street.

When a handsome young man.

Strolled past, looking neat.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Instant electricity.
Filled up the air.
The young lady, stopped walking.
The man stopped, to stare.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

They gazed at each other.

Without knowing why.

Both feeling a need.

To be by each others side.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The young man approaches.
He asks for a date.
Without hesitation.
She said, "yes! that sounds great".
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Until tomorrow".

He said, with a smile.

"I will pick you up then".

"We can talk for a while".

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I look forward to it sir".
She replies, with a grin.
"We could meet at my door".
"Then the day, shall begin".
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The man, dipped his hat.

And waved her goodbye.

Anxiously awaiting.

The new, morning sky.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The lady ran home.
Trying to patiently, wait.
But could not sleep at all.
And drank coffee till late.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The next day arrived.

There he stood, at the door.

With a showering of flowers.

One dozen or more.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The aroma, was hypnotic.
As he gathered her arm.
The lady, simply lost.
In his magnetic charm.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Many dates followed.

They did not, wish to part.

Then on one bended knee.

The man offered his heart.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Floating on clouds.
The lady said, "yes".
Committing that day.
To love, fifty years blessed.
      Thankyou for the vote :)
      Will drop past your page very soon. You take care as well.
      Morning down under, how's it going Skellie.
      For me this simple poem has every thing, Love, Romance, Feeling, Beauty and what is nice it's all yours.
      Not bad when you've had writers block and struggling to get back in line.
      Awesome, beautiful, and a BIG UP.
      Take care.
      I was trying to relate this to any "real" situation I know or have heard about. Couldn't...but still like it. Not bad for an ideal!
