That was quite a fun poem. I like word play. I sounded like you had fun doing it. Voted up and Interesting.
Well done Jodah. I enjoyed this greatly! Jamie
Somehow I missed this. Great choice of words and I love how you used them in the poem. Very unique, clever and creative.
Crazy but nice i cannot pronounce all those mad words without breaking them up or biting my tongue and i prefer not to.
You are a true poet Jodah! I love these words you've chosen. I'm never bored reading your poetry:)
Interesting new words...thank you! :)
I love rare words, and you certainly pulled some of them out of your thesaurus, my friend.
Oh I love it when poets play!
What a wonderful concoction of so many different words ! Isn't our beautiful planet is like the great jumble produced by you here ? Heterogeneous yet so curious, great, marvelous and full of grandeur ! What Bill has said about words seems quite fascinating and an idea to be worth pondering. All words, people, things, dreams, feelings, etc. and there are countless things present in this world and some we have coined so imaginatively about the world hereafter. If one is able to conceive something everyday out of this great treasure, our creativity will be ever busy ! I loved this hub as it made me stopped and think something different. Voted up.
Simply superb. You have talent and confidence. Write on more. Success is sure to follow. I really enjoyed reading this short poem.
Nicely done and I find its interesting style :)
What a clever post! I love the word play and I've come across some new ones at that!
at least you are updating my vocabulary..
i love the way you put em...
interesting!
Thanks for sharing the interesting and funny poem, Jodah! I enjoyed reading it.
I love the way you put it together. I believe people can find inspiration anywhere.
Lol! Nice one Jodah; indeed you must have had an overflow of time on your hands. Let's throw this one into the party that I made up - a tongue-twister :)
~ "S " ence ~
Swarthy Senorita, swathed in sassy, sensuous scenes;
Surveying silent souls, selling sordid,secret schemes.
Sparsely sown surprise, supports superfluous, strident stealth;
Stalling, shady strangers, stretching stories of sorry self.
Soundly-spoken syllables, sail like slowly-swimming streams;
Stormy-sprinkled speeches, showing symptoms of strained seams.
Shrewdly, stark, sequacious, Suzy states sagacious shocks;
Swooping, sure sequences, soundly sporting shares and stocks.
Suggestions, surreptitiously, smother Spring's sweet Summer song;
Serious seductive smiles, show her singing's, swinging strong.
Sunny showers signal September's sneaky survival streak;
Stellar-strewn striations spawn a subtle sign she seeks.
Strolled, subjective sentiments,sustained in swift sweet subdivisions;
Superimposed subjoinder, subdues selective speech submissions.
Storing special sayings, stashed like scabbard-sealed swords;
Serrated-steel sounds, safely stored in scribbled scores.
Have fun!

Jodah - Great poem and there is nothing better that word play and dictionary time, but I am disappointed... I wanted you to make the word BORED out of the first word / first line acrostic. Maybe next time. :) Theresa

Jodah, I can see that you're in a stupendously crazy mood, very engaging....you and Phyllis gave me a little chuckle this morning, . :)

Very clever and I am glad I don't have to undersand everything perfectly. Interesting list of word! Haha
Cleveraly written. I love words, not always spelled correctly, you know what i mean. Hee..
Creative and challenging! Good job.
Lots of fun, John! We have about 75,000 words to play with; seems like we should be able to do something worthwhile with all those choices, doesn't it? :) Have a great weekend my friend.
Really crazy choice of words which made it quite funny.. good work :)
Acrostic !
I meant to say I did notice the CRAZY indication at the beginning of each first line -- what is that called? It is a type of poem .... uhmmm....
I love playing with words and this is a good example of doing just that! It's amusing and delightful. Ann
Well, this is interesting. Really bored, are we Jodah? Your summary made me laugh before I even read the poem. You are very creative, my friend -- and obviously bored. hahahaha I love it ! I am still laughing. Well done and not an easy task either.
